Microcaps are risky

Microcap stocks are among the riskiest securities you can buy. They are often thinly traded, so you may not be able to sell when you want to or at the price you see quoted. They have less public information, fewer analysts and weaker oversight than larger companies. They are a favorite target for fraud and pump-and-dump schemes. Many of them fail outright. You can lose all of the money you put into them.

Past results don't predict anything

Performance I report is my own, in my own account, over a specific period. Backtests and historical studies are hypothetical. They have built-in limits and they routinely look better than real trading. Neither tells you what will happen next.

Accuracy

I try hard to get facts right and to cite sources. I will still make mistakes. Information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything that matters against primary sources before you rely on it. When I find an error, I correct it and mark the correction.

My positions and conflicts

I trade my own account and may hold positions in securities I write about. Every post lists my position in each ticker it names as of the publish date, and I don't trade a named ticker for at least 48 hours after publishing. I am not paid by any company I write about.
